Fall. The most colorful time of the year. Always warm colors like the love that's in their hearts. Nature is embracing us inviting to love even more.
The love this young couple shares goes through beyond the screen and radiates happiness.

Use Your Creativity to Create Your Memories

November 11, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

One of the pleasures of being a wedding photographer is seeing the unique ways in which each couple creates their experience.  Since the basics are often the same - ceremony, reception, family photos etc., it's the little things that can make lasting memories.  Creating decorations, gifts, little flourishes that capture your personalities and the various aspects of your relationship often make some of the best photos.  Creativity doesn't have to be costly.  Simple, natural things put together can give your guests a memory of what you and the day are all about.  Here are some fun photos of personality coming through.

Using Your Home for Your Wedding Venue

http://www.zenfolio.com/danielivan/e/p774937574If you’ve looked into wedding venues and haven’t found one that is satisfying, consider your own home or that of a family member or friend.  Yes, it’s more work to create your own venue, but it can also give your wedding a very unique and special feel and may save you money.  We say “may” because sometimes people who have home weddings end up spending as much on renting items for the wedding as they would using a professional venue. That’s no reason not to do it, but just take the time to think through everything that may need to be rented. From the photographic point of view, consider whether or not there are places within the home or lawn that will make good backgrounds.  Gardens are great if they are weeded or if enough flowers are in bloom. If the wedding or reception is indoors, is there available natural light?  Is there enough space so that the guests are not too close to the wedding couple during the ceremony?  If you’re trying to decide whether or not to have a home wedding, take lots of photos on your phone or any camera of the rooms and lawn or gardens where you think you might hold the activities.   Spaces can look very different in photography than they do in real life. You may also want to consider having one part of the wedding at home and another part at a different venue. We at Daniel Photo Pro will be happy to take a look at your photos to help you decide if you wish.

Lisa and Michael’s wedding was held in a restaurant and the reception was held in her parents’ home. The results were spectacular!

How to Preserve the Best Memories

September 16, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

We all have tons of photos in our phones and computers, but rarely do they capture moments in time like true photography.  The Kelly family took the time to allow Daniel Photo Pro to capture one particular day in the lives of Kristin and her children, Nicholas and Avery. Long after the photos in phones have been deleted, the Kelly family will have prints from this wonderful day, framed and preserved for generations. Kids grow up fast! Quality photography, especially on location in a beautiful natural setting creates long, long lasting memories. Take the time from your busy schedule to think about how you will feel years from now looking at photography that has preserved not only the great moments, but the great people of your life.

Maternity and its Magic

September 12, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

Bringing a new life into the world is magical. It's a magic that we "Danielphotopro-Photography"are all trying to capture for eternity.

The magnificent Sunflower field has once again brought magic to the city of Avon, Ohio.  We are greatly blessed to have this glorious field of yellow which provides a spectacular background for pictures, in our community. The most beautiful part is that it was planted in the memory of a young girl who died of brain cancer.  The spirit of Maria lives on in the joy her Sunflower field brings to others. This unusual idea of honoring a child started small but has grown stronger as more people have become aware of the field which is replanted and enlarged each year. Let the beauty and magic of nature transform your body and heart so that you may live the healthiest and best life you can.
