The Deeper Meaning of the Bride's Walk Down the Aisle
In life there are the things that actually happen, and there are the higher perspectives of it. For example, when the bride walks down the aisle, she is keenly aware of multiple things in the moment - hoping she looks as radiant as she feels, taking care with her steps, the crowd straining to see her, the groom gazing at her with loving eyes. The walk has deeper meaning on another level. It is the walk out of one life and into another. It is the walk from a life of "me" into a life of "us". In later years, when she and her husband review their wedding photos, they will realize how much more was going on than they felt at the moment. Life is funny like that; there is always much more to it than we think, and only time reveals the bigger picture.

There’s a special kind of love that begins when you’re still young — the kind that grows with you, shapes you, and becomes part of who you are long before you realize how rare it is. When two people choose to build a life together early on, they aren’t just choosing a partner. They’re choosing a journey. A shared becoming.
Some say you should wait until you’re older, wiser, more experienced. But there’s something magical about growing up side by side. You learn each other’s dreams, fears, and hopes before the world has a chance to harden them. You take a blind leap of faith together, trusting that love will guide you, strengthen you, and teach you what it means to build a life hand in hand.

There’s something unforgettable about a summer wedding by the water — especially when that water is the shimmering, sun‑kissed edge of Lake Erie. For couples who dream of a celebration wrapped in golden light, soft breezes, and the laughter of friends drifting across the shoreline, Lake Erie becomes more than a backdrop. It becomes part of the story.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve learned that the most meaningful images aren’t just about perfect poses. They’re about atmosphere — the way the day feels. And a summer wedding by the lake feels like freedom, joy, and romance woven together.

Location Spotlight - Water!
What is it about water, that makes a photo more compelling? Water from a stream to a great lake, adds dimension and often wonderful lighting to a photo. After all, water is a huge part of human life, so why not celebrate it in engagement and wedding photos.

Playful Engagement & Wedding Photos
Sure, weddings are expensive and dramatic, and hopefully you'll only have just one. However, engagements and weddings do have a lighter side. A good photographer will keep an eye out for the shots that will make you smile or even laugh later on. For the couple and guests, the actual event takes their full attention. A skilled photographer, however, keeps in mind the future experiences of the couple and guests enjoying the photos.
