In planning, create a picture or list of everything you want, then start backing off. If flowers or plants are your passion, keep other aspects simple. In each area - dress, decorations, food, etc., choose one thing that will stand out, with other elements in quiet support. "Wow" experiences come from carefully curated elements, not a mishmash.
