How to Discuss Editing with Your Wedding Photographer
The photography aspect of wedding planning can be difficult because the average bride and groom have never had an occasion to hire a professional photographer. There’s the stress of choosing a photographer, which often involves looking at lots of websites, the stress of deciding how much to spend, and the stress of understanding what you will get for your money. The editing aspect of photography is very challenging because the average person has no idea how much time editing takes, what can be edited without losing the authenticity of the picture, and what really makes a great picture.
The Daniel Photo Pro team produces excellent wedding photography because Daniel takes hundreds and sometimes thousands of shots, and his in-house photo editor has lots of shots to choose from in the editing process. The expertise of photo editing is in knowing what not to edit, as much as what needs to be tweaked. Inexperienced photo editors over-edit which leads to pictures that look photo-shopped and fake. Daniel Photo Pro edits just enough to make a photo appealing to the eye, but not so much that it looks photo-shopped. We will photo edit so that the bride and groom look their best, but still like themselves. After all, they fell in love with each other as they were!
